Value adding through basic fish processing (HACCP) skills programme
We provided HACCP Training
The South African Fisheries Development Fund partnered with well-established and accredited service providers to empower communities with these training courses.
The Fisheries Development Fund in partnership with the Food and Beverages Sectoral Education and Training Authority trained 66 unemployed persons against the accredited HACCP Skills Programme. The trainees reside within the Fishing Communities of Port Nolloth and Hondeklipbaai. The skills programme allows the persons entry into the Fish and Seafood Processing Industry.
